✨ Nanny / House Manager – North Willoughby (Part-Time, Long-Term)

We are a family based in North Willoughby looking for an experienced nanny / house manager to support the smooth day-to-day running of our home.

We have one daughter (22 months old) and a friendly, medium-sized non-shedding dog. Our daughter attends daycare part-time, and we are flexible with her schedule to suit the right candidate.

This is a household management–focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys running an organised, efficient home and takes pride in maintaining a consistently high standard.

We have weekly cleaners, so no deep cleaning is required. Instead, we are looking for someone who can take ownership of the “in-between” tasks that keep everything running seamlessly—no job is too small.

Responsibilities include:

• Laundry, tidying, and maintaining a well-organised home

• Daily upkeep of key living areas (kitchen, living room, hallways, and play areas), including wiping down benchtops, countertops, tables, and keeping surfaces consistently clean and reset

• Grocery shopping and keeping household supplies stocked

• Managing and restocking items before they run out (e.g. dish soap, pantry items, baby supplies)

• Light food prep (e.g. boiling pasta, defrosting protein, making rice, chopping vegetables)

• Preparing and organising toddler meals

• Keeping daycare bag, pram bag, and car kit consistently stocked and ready

• Taking out garbage and general household upkeep

• Organising drawers, cupboards, wardrobes, and storage

• Running errands (groceries, returns, post office, etc.)

• Receiving deliveries and keeping the household running smoothly

• Maintaining a clean and safe outdoor space, including promptly picking up after the dog in the backyard if needed to ensure it remains suitable for a child to play in

We have a dog walker, however the candidate must be comfortable being around dogs and taking responsibility for maintaining a clean environment where needed.

This list is not exhaustive. Once core tasks are complete, there will always be opportunities to further organise, reset, or improve areas of the home, and we may also provide direction for additional tasks on quieter days.

The goal of this role is to keep the household running efficiently and proactively, allowing mum—who is often home—to focus on spending quality time with her daughter rather than managing house admin.

When our daughter is home, we are looking for someone warm, engaging, and confident with toddlers. However, this is not a role that is purely childcare-focused.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Proactive and takes initiative

• Highly organised and detail-oriented

• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership

• Reliable and looking for a long-term role

• Professional during working hours, with minimal personal phone use
