Meet Maureen: A nanny in Cardiff, NSW

As a nanny and a mother I follow Dr. Maria Montessori's philosophy gently observing, following and guiding each child. With this in mind I am seeking a family that is enthusiastic about Montessori or has a similar approach to life.

I am Diploma trained in Early Childhood and Montessori Education. I understand how the years from 0 - 6 are the foundation that shapes children future.

I have over 15 years experience consisting of:

-Montessori Assistance for children aged 3-6 years old in an Australian Preschool.

-Teacher and camp counselor for summer camp equestrian programs in the USA.

-Leader in an after-schools centre.

-Set up and led play groups for children aged 0-4 years.

-One-to-one support for children with additional needs in an after schools centre and a family resource centre.

-Mother’s Help with three sets of baby and toddler twins on different ocassions.

-Cook in a small pre-school centre, also a children’s cooking teacher at a small cookery school for a summer.

-Live-in/live-out Au-pair/nanny on several occasions in the UK, Italy and Australia.

-Arts and crafts activities leader.

- Educator at creche and daycare.
