Meet Salwa: A nanny and babysitter in Pascoe Vale, VIC

I remain calm under pressure and will adapt accordingly to the environment, being a quick learner. I am very passionate about taking care of children and making sure each child receives the space for the most optimal development they deserve as they are active contributors to society. Children have the right to feel safe and secure in any environment and I would love to provide a safe space. I plan to extend this passion to my teaching career so I am able to help even more children, which is why I am in my second year of the Bachelor of education at La Trobe University. I have a little brother that I have always been the assigned babysitter for, I know how to build a routine and ensure safety. Some interests I have are in drawing, painting, consuming media and video games, I would love to talk about these things if relatable! Not just with the kids as I know how important it is for parents to feel comfortable with a caretaker as well, I strive to do well above the minimum and work towards strong relationships built on trust.
