Meet Ali: A nanny and babysitter in Thornbury, VIC

Hi, my name is Alexandra and I live in Thornbury. I am currently seeking part-time or casual employment in the area. I have extensive experience working in child care centres, after-school care programs, and as a nanny for children of all ages—from infants to pre-teens.

For the past three years, I have worked in childcare as a room leader and in managerial roles. I hold both my Certificate and Diploma in Early Childhood Education, and I have a strong interest in child development and psychology. I am excited to be starting my Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary Education in July.

I am a solo parent to a 4.5-year-old son, so my availability is primarily during daytime hours, although I can offer occasional evening or weekend shifts if needed. I’m very comfortable with babies through to school-aged children and am passionate about supporting their growth through play, creativity, and meaningful engagement.

I’m a big animal lover too, and more than happy to work with families who have pets.
