Meet Alva: A babysitter in Coogee, NSW

Hi! I'm Alva, a 21 year old girl from Sweden who moved to Australia December 2024.

I've always loved being around children and i have a lot of experience caring for kids throughout my life. After finishing school, I worked as an Au Pair in the US, where I. looked after three children between the ages of 5 and 8. I've also worked at different kindergartens, caring for children from 1 to 6 years old. On top pf that, I have a younger brother and younger cousins, so being around children has always been a natural part of my life.

Fo me, one of the most important things when building a good relationship with a child is being present, listening to them, and genuinely caring about what they have to say. I believe children needs someone who makes them feels safe, seen and heard while also making sure they have a fun time.

I genuinely love spending time with kids and always try to bring lots of energy, creativity and positivity. I love playing, exploring, being silly and creating fun little moments together, and hopefully they have just as much fun with me :)
