Meet Sophia: A nanny in Strathmore, VIC

With extensive experience working with children through roles as a swim teacher, babysitter, children’s party host, and school holiday activity assistant, I am confident in my ability to provide safe, nurturing, and engaging care for your family. I have experience working as a Nanny/Babysitter for a 6 year old girl recently as of the start of the year, and have occasionally worked as a Babysitter caring for children from 5 and up. I am looking to fill up my week doing what I love most which is taking care of children!

I have a huge heart and i’m a friendly, bubbly, and energetic person who genuinely enjoys supporting children’s growth and wellbeing. I am tidy, maintain a clean and organised environment, and am a great cook who enjoys preparing meals and baking fun treats for children. My past roles have strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to build positive relationships with children of all ages. I am comfortable managing routines, assisting with learning and play, cleaning spaces and maintaining a calm and supportive environment throughout the day.

As a swim teacher for children aged 2–12, I have developed strong safety awareness, behaviour-management skills, and the ability to stay attentive and responsible in dynamic situations. My experience hosting birthday parties and running holiday activities has also given me confidence in creating fun, engaging experiences while setting appropriate boundaries.

I am certified in First Aid, CPR and Defibrillator. Working With Children’s Check available.
