Meet Veronica: A nanny and babysitter in Brisbane, QLD

I'm the nanny for you if you are seeking help from a reliable, fun and dedicated nanny/ helper/ additional family member for Dec/Jan holidays. (Current CV and references available).

I'm a primary school teacher, looking for part time work, or either full or part time work during the upcoming school holidays (Dec '25/Jan '26), and potential ongoing casual care. Prior to teaching, I held a range of teacher aid, nanny and au pair jobs over the last 15 years, supporting families with 1-4 children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. I also have a Diploma in Children's services and an advanced diploma in biomedical yoga and meditation. Some of my other childcare experiences include working in an orphanage in the Ukraine and counselling at a local summer camp for 5-15 year old. Through this time I was able to realize how much I value working with children and families.

I live an active and playful lifestyle. As a nanny I also play alongside with the children I care for; I like to get involved in their games to help expand on their creative ideas and extend their play. I also think it is important to involve children in day to day activities. I try to use each experience as an opportunity for the children learn about, and further understand the world around them. I apply what I have learned about child development and human behaviour to my job as a nanny. I love being involved in kids' lives and watching them learn and grow.
