Meet Lycia: A nanny and babysitter in Bronte, NSW

I am from Brazil, I have experience working as an au pair in Italy for 6 months, live out nanny for 4 months and I have worked as a babysitter in Germany for almost a year. I completed my Certificate IV in community services in Australia. I also have experience working as a support worker looking after people with disabilities. I am currently studying a Masters of Social Work. I am passionate about children and my specialisation in my master’s is child protection. I am caring and patient, and I truly care about people and children.

I've had great experiences in the past looking after children. On my au pair experience in Italy for 6 months, I looked after 3 boys (4,6 and 8 yo) helping out in the morning to get them ready for school, taking them to school and helping after the school with homework and looking after them.

On my live out nanny experience in Italy. I had to look after a girl 10yo and a boy 8yo I had to pick them up at school, help with homework and entertain them with activities.

In Germany my experience was looking after a girl 8yo and a boy 6yo I had to play with them, prepare and give them meals. That experience went for 5 months during my studies in Germany.

I also had a babysitting experience in Australia (10, 7 and 3yo) I used to help around the house cleaning, preparing lunch boxes, tiding up and playing with the children mainly with the little one (3yo).

Some of my personal interests are yoga, meditation, hiking, going to the beach, being in nature and camping. I have a WWCC and a blue card from QLD. I have a valid Australian drivers license and first aid certificate.
