Meet Erin: A nanny and babysitter in Windsor, QLD

Hello, I'm Erin! I'm a 33-year-old artist, environmentalist, and childcare worker with four years' experience caring for children from newborn to 8 years, in Australia and the UK. I hold three Bachelor's degrees in nursing, health science (paramedics), and environmental management, and bring a calm, safety-conscious approach to childcare alongside genuine warmth and patience.

My general approach is guided by the principles of the Danish Way of Parenting, including play, authenticity, reframing setbacks, empathy, no ultimatums, and togetherness. I put a strong focus on age-appropriate nature-based play and creative expression through music, movement, and art. I love helping kids and young people explore the world around them with curiosity and confidence. I'm also confident with younger babies, including feeding, changing, bathing, napping, burping, and giggling, and would gladly support parents wanting a few hours' break!

I take the time to understand each child's natural strengths, interests, and sensory needs, and shape our time together around them. This approach works well for all children, including those with low support needs (ASD/ADHD/AuDHD), as it centres on what genuinely engages and motivates them.
