Meet Bianca: A nanny and babysitter in Patterson Lakes, VIC

Hi parents,

My name is Bianca, I’m 19 years old, and I’m looking to become a supportive, reliable part of your family’s life. I genuinely love working with children and helping them grow, learn, and feel cared for.

I graduated high school last year and currently work across multiple before- and after-school care programs in Melbourne’s south-east. I still have plenty of availability and am looking to offer additional babysitting and childcare support.

Although I’m young, I have extensive hands-on experience. I’ve been caring for my younger cousins since I was about 14–15, and I’ve been casually babysitting for multiple families for the past two years, supporting children from 13 months through to 12 years old.

In addition to babysitting, my experience includes:

• Working with Prep and Year 2 students through a school partnership program

• Supporting students at Yarrabah School

• Volunteering throughout the year at a childcare centre in Carrum Downs (primarily in the infant room, but I assist in all rooms)

• Leadership roles at school, including SRC and Class Captain

• Currently studying a Certificate in Education Support

• First Aid Certificate

• Paid Working With Children Check

• All About Allergens Certificate

• Hand Hygiene Certificate

• Food Safety Certificate

• Level 5 English and Maths

• And several other relevant trainings

I’m experienced and confident with:

• Bath and bedtime routines

• Rocking/settling babies to sleep

• Nappy changes

• Meal times and meal prep

• Helping with learning and homework

• Outings and activities

• Engaging, creative play

• School pickups and drop-offs (I have my own car and hold my Green P’s)

• Light household chores to help keep things running smoothly
