Meet Ali: A nanny and babysitter in Ivanhoe, VIC

I’m a mother of 20 year-old boy–girl twins. One was diagnosed with childhood cancer at four; and the other with a seizure disorder. Both are autistic and have ADHD. Parenting has been intense and demanding, requiring advocacy, adaptability and persistence. Through navigating medical systems and support services, I’ve developed strong problem-solving skills and resilience. Creativity, structure and humour have been central in helping my children grow into capable, independent young adults.
