Meet Micaela: A nanny and babysitter in Rose Bay, NSW

Hi! My name is Mica, an Argentinian that have been living in Australia for a while now and after a decade of working in Hospitality I came to the realization that I would like to be doing something more meaningful and aligned with the person I am today.

I see myself as an outgoing, fun, friendly, caring and loving person who's also very organized, responsible and reliable. I'm vegan, I do yoga, I love reading, cooking, music and dancing. I'm also into astrology and plants. I deeply care about the planet and protect its nature; I stand by Equal Rights, Social and Climate Justice; I believe in doing my best to leave the world a better place and being a good role model.

I'm a proud Aunty and working with kids makes a lot of sense to me. I have experience caring for children from 6 months to 12 years old, including my nieces, nephews and my friends' kids. Whether it is helping with homework for the older ones or organising activities, feeding them or making bedtime smooth for the yonger ones, I love seeing the world through their eyes, listening to their stories and playing alongside them. I believe every child is unique, and I enjoy nurturing their curiosity, creativity, and growth. I feel my experience in customer service has strengthened my communication, patience, and ability to multitask—skills that help me provide attentive and loving care.

I have done a workshop about Plant-Based Nutrition in Childhood; so if including a variety of foods and expanding your family's diet is a topic that interests you, it would be my pleasure to support that journey.

I have my WWCC ready, First Aid and CPR course done and full Australian Driver Licence.

I'm based in Rose Bay and looking for local families, but happy to commute for the right one.

I'm also keen to consider other jobs like Aged Care, Pet Care and maintaining your home organized.
