Meet Aada: A nanny in Toowong, QLD

Hello! My name is Aada, and I’m a qualified and experienced childcare worker from Finland. I am currently seeking a part-time nanny position with a family looking for reliable, long-term support. I’m excited to offer trusted care and build meaningful relationships with a new family.

With over six years of diverse childcare experience, I bring a safe, calm, and professional approach to every role. My patient, nurturing, and empathetic nature drew me to this field, and continues to guide my passion for work with children. I recently completed my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, which has strengthened my professional skills and knowledge as a nanny and educator.

Since February 2025 I have worked as a casual educator as well as a part-time nanny. I have cared for, and feel confident with children of all ages, from 2 months old up to school age. In addition to working as an educator, nanny and babysitter over the past three years, I have also thought dance and gymnasts to little ones. My experience comes from both Finland and Australia. Recently, I have been focusing on building even more experience with infants, and I plan to further my studies in areas such as sleep training in the future.

I have a strong childcare philosophy grounded in slow, responsive, and holistic care, playbased learning, and respectful, meaningful interactions. I value time in nature, limited or no screen use, and providing children with supportive structure and routine. Upon request, I can provide references, my Certificate III, Blue Card, and First Aid certificate (HLTAID012). I am flexible with days and times and would be available to start within a two-week notice.
