Meet Gillian: A nanny and babysitter in Newport, NSW

Hi, I’m Gill!

I’m a mum of two girls who are now in primary school, and I live locally in Newport.

I’m a Registered Nurse with extensive experience caring for babies and families. I spent 6 years working in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) and for the past 6 years I have been working as a practice nurse in Mona Vale. Before completing my nursing degree, I also worked as a nanny.

I’m currently looking for some additional work during school hours, ideally on Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and potentially Fridays. I do have some flexibility with my current job, so I may be able to negotiate other days if needed.

I absolutely love babies and children and would particularly love to support new mums and dads who might need an extra pair of hands, whether that’s caring for their baby while they rest, helping with feeds and settling, or simply making the day a little easier. I’m equally happy looking after older children, playing with them and keeping them busy.

I’m also very happy to help around the house with things like washing, tidying, meal preparation and other day to day jobs as needed.
