Meet Josie: A nanny and babysitter in Willoughby, NSW

Hi Familes/Mums! My names Josie Im a 17-year-old in my first year out of school, turning 18 in June. I have completed a Certificate II in Hospitality and am aiming to commence a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education. I completed Year 12 at St Vincent’s College, Potts Point, where I was a full-time boarder, with my home town being Broome, Western Australia.

I am a motivated and organised individual with a strong commitment to personal development and responsibility, developed through residential school life. I am adaptable, proactive, and have demonstrated leadership qualities through my involvement in school and extracurricular activities.

I have worked part-time during school holidays for the past five years at a childcare centre, primarily in the babies’ room. This experience has strengthened my passion for early childhood education and has developed my skills in nurturing, patience, and teamwork.
