Looking for: Full-time, Part-time, Casual Babysitting
Hi, my name is Sev!
I am an experienced, energetic, fun and creative Nanny and Babysitter. I've had 7 years of experience looking after children aged between 2 months - 15 years old. I have worked regularly for three families over this time, and casually for many others.
I absolutely love kids and have lots of experience in arts/crafts, having fun outside, sports, imaginative play, baking, homework help as well as household chores/cleaning. I also love animals (excluding reptiles sorry!) so pets are a plus for me!
I am currently looking for any work (regular or casual!) available.
I am currently completing my Masters at NIDA, however my timetable is fairly flexible.
Over the past decade, I have spent a lot of my time volunteering for numerous charities and I have a Youth Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for service to the community. Many of these organisations have required me to work closely with children, these include:
- Camp Quality: As a Companion and Rover, my role is to ensure that children who are facing cancer have a super fun time at our recreational camps! I help to create a positive, nurturing and fun environment for the kids. On camps, I am responsible for looking after 1-3 children for the duration of the event. I have also visited children in hospital and co-led activities involving crafts and sport.
- AIME (Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience): During my undergraduate studies at university, I was an AIME mentor which required me to inspire, motivate and encourage my mentee to follow their dreams and to continue their education after graduating from high school.
-Volunteer at SCARF (Strategic Community Assistance for Refugee Families) As a Homework Club Tutor, my role is to assist primary-school aged students with their school work.
Aside from Nannying, I have worked as a Drama Tutor where I taught drama to K-6 students. I have also worked at Luna Park as an actor, a Tutor, and most recently, as a Christmas Elf!
My personal interests include dance, going to the beach, arts/crafts (especially crochet and scrapbooking!), music (piano and choral singing), sports/any type activity involving movements and the theatre (acting, playwriting, directing, stage management!)
My rate for Nannying is $40 per hour, and $60 on Public Holidays.
Please note, I don't drive.
If you are interested, please contact me and I can email you my WWCC and answer any questions you may have.
I look forward to hearing from you! :)
