Meet Gemma: A babysitter in Brighton, VIC

Hi, my name is Gemma, and I have relocated to back to Melbourne, after being a children’s ski instructor in Thredbo and Japan.

In terms of experience, I’ve worked with children from 4 months - 20 years old including special needs and learning disabilities in all different locations.

I have worked in the Australian and French Ski Slopes as a nanny working minimum 10 hour days for an agency that provides childcare services for holiday makers.

Furthermore, I have spent two European summers at an American style summer camp in Croatia working as the Head of Girls, where I was in charge of the pastoral care of 200 girls at a residential camp, and all female staff.

I’m also a qualified sailing and windsurfing instructor. I love being outdoors and active, arts and crafts activities to be creative as well as academic based learning. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if there is any way I can assist you.
