Hello everyone 😊
My name is Deanna, and I’m an enthusiastic and bubbly educator who genuinely loves working with children. I pride myself on being flexible and able to adapt to each family’s routine in a way that feels comfortable and supportive for everyone.
I hold a Bachelor of Teaching (Primary and Disability Studies) and currently work as a teacher in a special school. I have also gained valuable experience with work in disability camps and a range of different schools through both employment and placements, working as an education support staff member and a teacher.
Alongside my teaching role, I have extensive experience in disability support and inclusive education. I’m also a qualified swimming instructor, teaching babies, children of all ages, and children with additional needs. I tutor students from EAL backgrounds in community settings, as well as privately supporting preschool and primary-aged children, including those with additional needs.
I hold a Certificate IV in Education Support, current First Aid and CPR certification, and a valid Working with Children Check.
Above all, I am passionate about building positive relationships with children and supporting them to feel happy, confident, and capable. I would love the opportunity to support your family 😊
