Meet Ellie: A nanny in Bondi, NSW

My name is Ellie, I’m 30 years old and originally from Brighton, England and I am now living in Bondi. I’m a warm, reliable and enthusiastic nanny with over 12 years of experience caring for children from newborn through to school age.

Professionally I began my career working in a childcare setting while completing my Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, where I worked for three years. I then became a long term nanny for twin girls from two months old through to seven years of age, acting as their sole carer while their parents worked in aviation. This included overnight care, managing routines, supporting developmental milestones, preparing healthy meals, and creating a calm, structured and nurturing environment.

Since moving to Australia, I have been working as a nanny in Sydney most recently caring for a little boy from 7 months to 2 years old in Coogee. Alongside nannying, I also work casually at Reddam House Early Learning School, which has further strengthened my experience within early learning environments.

I am very confident caring for babies and young children and genuinely love supporting routines, development and day to day care. I strongly believe in building trusting, positive relationships with both children and parents and maintaining open, respectful communication.

Outside of work I love keeping active and setting personal challenges. I’ve completed two full marathons and a half marathon and enjoy regular running, gym classes, long walks, discovering new coffee spots and spending time outdoors, especially at the beach.

I’m excited to continue my journey in Australia and am looking forward to finding a long term role with a family where I can contribute positively to their children’s wellbeing, growth and happiness.
