Meet Alexandra: A nanny and babysitter in Parkville, VIC

I am a hardworking and lively person with a strong family orientation, which has given me extensive experience caring for young family members and friends. Having moved away from home for university, I have proven myself to be self-sufficient and capable of independently managing household chores and cleaning.

I have experience running children’s surf lifesaving programs and volunteering at camps for young people with disabilities through The Flying Fox organisation. Through these experiences, I have developed the skills necessary to diligently supervise and entertain multiple children at once, including children with a range of interests, personalities and needs.

I also have experience babysitting twin girls who are currently 18 months old. Through caring for them, I have become well-versed in keeping them entertained while patiently navigating their emotions and any challenges that may arise. I have also had an ongoing role in their nightly routine, including preparing and assisting with dinner, bathing and reading bedtime stories in accordance with their family’s routines and preferences.

More broadly, I have babysat children of a range of ages and am able to provide engaging and creative entertainment. I enjoy staying active and creative in my own day-to-day life, which allows me to bring enthusiasm, energy and a variety of activities to my time caring for children.
