Meet Roya: A nanny and babysitter in Oakleigh East, VIC

Hello My name is Masoumeh, but everyone calls me Roya. I have been working as a babysitter since 2016 and have been working professionally in childcare since February 2022. Throughout my experience, I have cared for children aged 6 months to 5 years, supporting their learning, development, and daily routines.

I am a warm, patient, and trustworthy person who truly enjoys being around children. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and loved. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is building genuine connections with the children I care for. I’m proud to say that many of them have called me their “best friend,” and I still look forward to starting each day with their hugs, smiles, and excitement.

As someone who works in early childhood education, I understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn through play and feel confident to explore the world around them.
