Meet Aliyah: A nanny and babysitter in Petersham, NSW

Hi parents!

My name is Aliyah, I am a 20 year old second-year uni student studying a Bachelor of Nursing at UTS. I have had previous babysitting experience with children ages 1.5 - 10 years old and have worked for 3 different families. I have also worked as a volunteer assistant at a school, working in the preschool and first grade for 2 years. During my time at the school, I learned that it is most important to immerse children in creativity and also involve them in tasks such as cooking and baking, which I have found promotes development. I also grew up in a house full of kids, as I have three nieces and one nephew who are between the ages of 1 - 5 that I frequently babysit. I can do laundry, house chores and cook meals. I am currently available 2 - 3 days a week and can work on weekends; however, my schedule is subject to change on certain days.
