Meet Lisa: A nanny and babysitter in Brighton, VIC

I'm an experienced nanny with a calm, professional approach. I recently completed 9 months with a family who had twin boys. I worked with them from when the boys were 6 weeks old. The family moved interstate and the role came to a natural end.

I have since started nannying with a family in Malvern and work Thursdays and Fridays but could potentially be free on Monday and/or Wednesday for a local role in Brighton. The current family I am working with have a 3 year old and a 15 month old.

Apart from my current experience, I worked both as a live-in and live-out nanny in the UK for 2 years, where I formed close, lasting relationships with the families and children in my care. The children ranged from 9 months to 4 years old. I've also raised two children of my own, who are now young adults.

Having been a working parent myself, I understand first-hand how much it matters to have a nanny who is reliable, consistent, and works in genuine partnership with the family. I take routines and parenting preferences seriously and bring both warmth and good judgment to everything I do.

Earlier in my career I worked in complex HR roles, which has given me strong communication skills, discretion, and the ability to handle whatever a day throws at me with a level head. I have chosen to return to nannying because I genuinely enjoy working with children and supporting families.

I hold a current Working with Children Check, a completed police check, up-to-date first aid certification, and am happy to provide references.

We share our home with a border collie/golden retriever cross and a cat, so I'm very comfortable around pets and completely at ease in homes where animals are part of the family.
