Meet Lisa: A nanny in Brighton, VIC

Hi, I’m Lisa. I have a background in nannying and have raised two children of my own, who are now young adults.

I am currently working as a nanny for a family with young twins. Previously, I worked part-time in childcare while at university, and after graduating, I spent two years in the UK as both a live-in and live-out nanny. I formed close relationships with the families and children I cared for during that time. Also, having been a working parent, I relate to the importance of having a nanny who is reliable, calm, and works in partnership to support the family's routines and parenting styles. I have a WWC check and a recent first aid qualification.

A bit more about me: after nannying, I built a career in responsible and complex HR roles. I have recently retired and am studying classical realist art part-time. I have chosen to nanny as I enjoy helping families, working with children and the flexibility the role brings. The family that I am working with are moving interstate. I am looking for a new role starting at the end of April or beginning of May.

We share our home with a border collie/golden retriever and a cat, so I’m very comfortable around pets. I am happy to complete a police check if required and provide references.
