Meet Cara: A nanny and babysitter in Newport, NSW

Hi! I'm 18 years old and have recently graduated from Pittwater House in Collaroy. I'm planning to travel next year and am currently saving up for my trip. I've always loved spending time with children and have often babysat my younger cousins, so I'd love to continue doing something I enjoy! I have four years of experience as a surf lifesaving age manager, where I’ve been responsible for supervising and caring for children, particularly around the water. I'm confident, responsible and friendly, with training in first aid, CPR and anaphylaxis management. I love keeping kids active and entertained, whether that's taking them to the park or beach, getting outdoors or organising fun, creative activities at home! I'm also more than happy to help with homework, especially English, having just completed my HSC studying English Advanced, Extension 1 and Extension 2. I'm very happy to lend a hand around the house, whether that’s preparing school lunches in the morning, cooking meals, tidying up or helping with other household tasks. I'm also a huge animal lover, so families with pets are always a bonus!
