Meet Bea: A nanny, babysitter, and au pair in Melbourne, VIC

Hi! I’m a friendly, reliable and caring 26 year old from the UK who has previously worked as a Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (NHS) with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology & a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Child Wellbeing Practice.

I have also worked across mainstream and specialist school settings, including those with autism, ADHD, SEND and other complex needs.

Alongside my professional experience, I have been babysitting since I was 15 and genuinely enjoy working with children. While in Sydney, I also worked as a nanny for a family with two children and helped care for their 10-week-old puppy. This gave me further experience supporting a busy family with day-to-day childcare and responsibilities.

I’m warm, responsible, active and approachable, and I’m happy to help with school and nursery pick-ups, activities, homework, meal preparation, bedtime routines and general childcare. I also have a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and access to a car most of the time.

I’m now based in Melbourne from 26 September until 2 November and am available for casual, short-term or regular babysitting and nannying during this period.

From 2 November onwards, I have a full-time position secured, but I’ll continue to be available for evening, weekend and occasional/ad-hoc babysitting, so I’d be very happy to build an ongoing relationship with a family outside of my working hours.
