Meet Romy: A nanny in Ashburton, VIC

I’ve been working full-time as a nanny for the past 6 years and have cared for kids from over 20 different families. For the last three years, I’ve worked long-term with one family, including travelling overseas with them for extended periods. I’ve nannied children aged 8months –10 years old and have babysat kids of all ages, so I’m very comfortable adapting to different personalities, routines and family dynamics.

Alongside nannying, I also work at Studio Royale in Malvern, where I run children’s parties, and I’ve worked as a program director for IKAIKA, a kids’ water safety program. These roles have strengthened my ability to keep kids engaged, safe and having fun in group settings.

I’m known by families as a warm, kind, bubbly, and energetic nanny who creates a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. I’m organised, proactive, and always keep things clean and tidy, which helps days run smoothly. I’m also really committed to having an open, honest and transparent relationship with the families I work with and I take a lot of pride in being someone parents can fully trust.
