Meet Sylwia: A nanny and babysitter in Croydon Park, NSW

My name is Sylwia, and I am originally from Poland. I have over 9 years of experience working as a nanny, and caring for children is something I truly enjoy and take very seriously.

I spent 2 years in the United States as part of the Au Pair program, where I lived with a host family and supported them in their daily life. My role included caring for the children, organising their daily routines, helping with light household duties such as laundry, tidying, and running errands. It was a wonderful experience that helped me grow both personally and professionally.

After moving to Australia, I continued working as a nanny with several families. In my role, I focus not only on providing safe and loving care, but also on supporting children’s development. I enjoy taking children to different activities such as sports, outdoor play, or library programs, and helping them learn new skills and build confidence. I have experience supporting milestones such as language development, learning to ride a bike, and toilet training.

Alongside my nanny work, I have occasionally worked in cleaning roles, including Airbnb properties and private homes. This involved general household tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linen, which has helped me become very organised and attentive to detail.

Currently, I am working as a casual educator at Naremburn Early Learning Centre. This role has given me valuable experience in early childhood education and working within a team environment. At the moment, I am looking for a more stable, long-term position where I can continue supporting children and build a strong relationship with a family.

I am a warm, reliable, and responsible person who genuinely cares about creating a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for children. I would love the opportunity to work with a families and helping them supporting house holds rutines.
