Meet Carmen: A nanny and babysitter in Leichhardt, NSW

Hi Mums & Dads,

My name is Carmen, 35 years old, Dutch/Australian and have 15+ years of experience in looking after children. I came to Australia 11 years ago from the Netherlands to be an au pair and stayed with the family for two & half years. In that time they have become part of my family. After finishing up with them I have worked as a nanny for multiple families around the Inner West. The children I have looked after where in different age groups from 2 weeks old till 14 years of age.

I love my job as a nanny as you build up such a special bond with the kids. I love taking the kids out on day trips, going to the park, doing arts & crafts, playing with them, reading them stories & cooking /baking with them.This all depending on age of course. Next to looking after the children, I can help out with house duties, running errands and preparing meals for the whole family, And of course happy to help wherever I can for babysitting nights.

In my personal time I love to spend time with my friends/Sydney family, cook/bake, doing puzzles, colouring in, looking after my plant collection, listening to music, going into nature & photography.

I have a WWCC, police check, Australian citizenship, drivers license, fully vaccinated and happy to obtain a new first aid certificate but of course know all the basics/needs a parent would have too. I am fluent in Dutch & English. Reference available on request.

My availability is from the 19th of October till the 15th of December on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Fridays, weekends & babysitting nights on request. And maybe some extra time in the new year if needed.

I'm also available for adhoc casual babysitting so please feel free to reach out if you are in need of some help.
