Meet Billie: A nanny and babysitter in St Kilda East, VIC

Hello! My name is Billie and I'm a patient, fun and reliable 26-year-old who finds genuine joy in nurturing and caring for children. I’m currently in my second year of medical school at Monash University and hope to become a Paediatrician in the future.

I have extensive experience working with children, having worked as a full-time nanny for several years as well as a swimming teacher previously. Across my three years of nannying, I cared for children aged 8 months to 11 years.

Since starting medicine I’ve mostly done casual babysitting, but I’m now hoping to return to a more regular role with a lovely family. I find nannying incredibly rewarding, and it's especially meaningful to me to support children’s growth through play, reading, crafts, and singing/dancing.

I feel most comfortable caring for children aged 6 months and older, and I’m always happy to help with housework, homework and extracurricular activities. I hold a current CPR certificate and police check, driver's license and car, and am happy to provide references from families I have previously worked with.

Ideally, I’m looking for ~10 hours of work per week. My availability during the summer break (November — January) is much more flexible. I appreciate how important it is for families to have a dependable carer, so I always ensure I am reliable and consistent in the support I provide.
