Meet Sophia-Rose: A nanny and babysitter in Rose Bay, NSW

Hi! I’m Sophia, I am a recent graduate of Politics and International Relations from Durham University in the UK. I moved home to Sydney in July and I am looking for some childcare work to supplement my current job at a pub. I have experience working at Kambala coaching debating and public speaking for year 5-10, and while I was studying in Durham I was a boarding house and school assistant at Chorister School (ages 3-11). My primary focus in this role was the positive development and welfare of the children. My role required extensive safeguarding training, including awareness of the evolving challenges that the internet poses to child safety. I am comfortable helping with homework and other parts of home life. Outside of work, I am an avid reader, love Pilates and walking.
