Meet Sarah: A nanny in Cheltenham, VIC

Hi Parents!

I have been working with children for 8 years, and I am currently looking for my next wonderful family! I am Interested in a full time position, close to the bayside area. I have just come out of the early learning industry where I was working for the last two years and am wanting to get back into nannying. I absolutely love this job, and can't wait to meet some potential new families in need of some assistance.

I love to create a nurturing, fun, safe, and structured environment for the kids to be themselves and continue to grow, learn, and flourish.

I am an Aunt to 6 creative and intelligent kids. I have full-time Nanny experience of around 5 years and was an Early Learning Educator for the last two years. I am working on my Diploma of Early Learning and have currently completed all Certificate 3 units. I have cared for children ages ranging from 6 weeks to 15 years old.

I have completed two years of my Bachelor of Education at LaTrobe University. So far this has included over a month of practical training being a Student Teacher. During that time I facilitated classroom learning games and activities.

I also provided mentoring during group tasks and solo study as well as general supervision and guidance.

The experience and skills I have gained so far from my Bachelor's degree and practical training provides me with a well-rounded skill set suited to assist/supervise/tutor children at any level with their homework.

Aside from education, my other passion is food. Eating fresh, healthy, and tasty meals is very important to me. I’m a skilled home cook versed in a variety of different cuisines and techniques.

I’m happy to perform household duties including but not limited to grocery shopping, meal prep/cooking/meal plans, cleaning, and laundry, I am also very capable of household management.

I am an energetic, caring, fun, and fit person and I will be able to keep up with the kids with sports or games, arts and crafts, or whatever takes their interest. Some of my interests and hobbies include Yoga, meditation, swimming, art, camping and getting outdoors, and my charity work with rescue dogs.

I have a full Australian driver's license, a very reliable car, and a clean driving record. I am a non-smoker.
