Meet Cooper: A nanny and babysitter in Brunswick, VIC

Continuing my sisters legacy as the neighborhood babysitter, I have experience working with kids aged 4 -13 for over 10 years and have learned how to thrive during the everyday chaos. Every day I strive to create a fun and safe learning environment while managing daily schedules, running activities, providing tutoring, and attending to each child’s unique needs.

Beyond babysitting I have some unique experiences working at a summer camp leadings kids in outdoor activities (hiking, field games, creek time, canoeing, gardening), indoor activities (crafts, theatre, logic puzzles, dance battles), cleaning the cabin, meal time, and preparing clothes for the next day's activities

Beyond this, I have also volunteered with my local after school program doing math and english tutoring for children falling behind in school. Here I learned how to tailor lessons to each kid’s learning styles and help them build confidence they often lost from class.

Lastly, over the past 8 years, I have taught guitar to both beginners and more experienced players over every age range. Personally, music lessons were a huge part of my growth as a young teen and provided me with both a creative outlet and many of my favorite life experiences playing on stage With my teaching, I focus on creating engaging lesson plans to keep kids excited and building up a musical foundation that they will have forever. Teaching guitar is one of my favorite things in the world to do and I’d be happy to conduct lessons additionally if wanted !!!
