Meet Sophie: A nanny and babysitter in Kardinya, WA

I’m a fun and energetic person who loves entering kids’ worlds—whether that means building magical forts, creating Lego adventures, or telling stories with silly voices. As a current occupational therapy student aiming to work in paediatrics, I’m continually developing my understanding of child development and how to promote children’s autonomy and skills.

When I’m babysitting, I view every moment as an opportunity for learning and growth. I prioritise maintaining children’s existing routines to create structure, predictability, and a sense of security. My goal is to foster an environment where children feel safe, confident, and set up for success—while still having plenty of fun along the way.
