Meet Connie: A nanny and babysitter in Ashgrove, QLD

My name is Connie and I grew up on a sheep and cattle farm in a small town in rural NSW. I attended an all-girls school and during year 11 and 12, I was a babysitter for 3 kids aged 5-11 several days a week. My duties included school pick-up and after school activities, cooking dinner and tidying the home. After finishing Year 12, I spent a year living in Canada, before moving to Brisbane to begin my studies.

Since then, I’ve been studying Occupational Therapy at UQ, and hope to become a paediatric OT in the future. I am currently a pilates instructor once a week and university tutor. I have also been doing casual babysitting during my time in Brisbane including for families with children from the ages of 2-12.

I’m currently living in Ashgrove and am happy to drive!
