Meet Zilmiah: A nanny and babysitter in Arncliffe, NSW

Hi there! My name is Zilmiah. I've worked as an SLSO for over 20 years in 2 different schools, The first was at an SSP for students struggling at their home school due to intellectual/autistic behavioural difficulties. I adored my time there as I was able to build strong rapports with the students. Showing care and understanding, many students were able to thrive. My second school was Marrickville where I worked in a support unit. The vast majority of my students were neurodivergent and as I am also, I believe this has helped me tremendously to build great relationships with these students. My job has been a great source of enjoyment and satisfaction in seeing students grow and learn to better navigate their lives My focus now is more on individual care outside of the school environment. I am extremely passionate about working with kids who need extra care, patience and understanding.
