Meet Wendy: A nanny and babysitter in Strathfield, NSW

I am an experienced teacher with a strong background in caring for and educating young children. After many years working in schools, I have realised how much I enjoy the more personal side of childcare, such as getting to know a child’s personality, interests and routines and becoming someone they feel comfortable with. I consider myself as a warm, patient and reliable person, but I am also someone who likes to keep children engaged rather than simply “watching” them. I enjoy cooking, baking, crafts, reading, outdoor activities and creating little learning moments throughout the day. I’m currently studying my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and looking for a family I can build a genuine, long-term relationship with.
