Meet Catalina: A nanny and babysitter in Doncaster, VIC

I am a 32-year-old Chilean Primary School Teacher of English who has been living in Australia for the past two and a half years. I currently hold a Student visa as I’m studying a Master of Teaching (Primary and Early Childhood) at Deakin. I am a dedicated and experienced Primary School Teacher with 5 years of hands-on experience working with children from 6 to 8 years old. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a commitment to providing a safe, loving and stimulating environment for children to thrive. In addition to that, I have spent more than 10 years looking after children of various ages, starting from 6 months up to 15 years old, both here in Australia and in Chile.

My skills and qualifications include:

1. Childcare Expertise: I have a deep understanding of child development and behaviour, ensuring that I can create age-appropriate activities that promote learning and growth. I have experience working with children with special needs (ADHD, ASD, and emotional trauma), both in educational and nannying environments. I have training in Literacy Acquisition and Forest School Education, which I love to apply, as I am passionate about the outdoors. I have also studied Emotional Education.
