Meet Kika: A nanny in North Perth, WA

I’m a warm, reliable and caring qualified Early Childhood Teacher with several years of experience working with children in childcare, school and early childhood education settings. I have worked with children across a range of ages, from babies and toddlers through to kindergarten, pre-primary and primary-aged children, and I’m confident adapting my approach to suit each child’s individual personality, needs and routine.

I have experience supporting children with daily routines, meals, play, learning activities, bedtime routines, behaviour guidance and general care. Through my teaching degree and professional placements, I have also developed strong skills in planning engaging activities, supporting children’s language and literacy development, encouraging independence and creating calm, positive environments where children feel safe and comfortable.

I particularly enjoy play-based learning, arts and crafts, reading, outdoor activities and finding fun ways to keep children engaged rather than relying on screens. I’m also comfortable helping school-aged children with homework, reading or other learning activities if needed.

I understand how important it is for parents to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for their children, so I am dependable, patient, attentive and respectful of each family’s routines and parenting preferences. I hold First Aid qualifications and have extensive experience working professionally with children. Most importantly, I genuinely love working with children and building positive, trusting relationships with both children and their families.
