Hi, my name is Alisa, I’m 26 years old and originally from Germany. ✨🌺I’m a qualified pediatric nurse with a three-year professional nursing degree and several years of experience working with children of different ages and needs.

After completing my training, I worked for one year in a mental health clinic for children and adolescents before moving into intensive pediatric care. During my last year of work in Germany, I provided one-on-one care for an eleven-year-old nonverbal autistic girl with very complex needs and severe behavioral challenges. This experience taught me an incredible amount about patience, empathy, staying calm in difficult situations and understanding children beyond words.

Alongside my professional nursing experience, I have also worked as a nanny and babysitter. I’m comfortable caring for several children at once – in previous nanny jobs, there were even days when I looked after up to five children. However, after several years of working in very demanding care environments, I’m now looking for something a little different: a warm, personal and joyful way of working with children where I can really connect with them and become a trusted person in their everyday life.

I have a very special place in my heart for babies and young children, so finding a family with a little one would honestly make me very happy. At the same time, I genuinely enjoy children of all ages and would be very open to caring for siblings or older children as well.

Earlier this year, I decided to leave my life in Germany behind for a while and travel. I wanted to slow down, reconnect with myself and explore more of the world. I’m currently travelling through Southeast Asia and will arrive in Australia around the middle of November.

I would describe myself as calm, patient, caring and creative. In my free time, I love cooking, being in nature and by the ocean, surfing, yoga and meditation singing, making music, painting and anything creative. Depending on your child’s age and personality, I would love to bring these interests into our time together – whether that means being outside, making something creative, singing, playing, cooking together or simply creating a calm and safe environment.

I’m also currently working on improving my English. I can communicate well, but it isn’t perfect yet, so I hope you’ll have a little patience with me from time to time. 😊

I’m flexible with working hours and also open to live-in opportunities if accommodation is available. Most importantly, I would love to find a family where we all feel comfortable with each other and where I can become someone both the children and parents can genuinely trust.

I’m definitely open and flexible when it comes to the hourly rate. I did some research on typical nanny rates in Australia, particularly considering my professional background and qualifications as a pediatric nurse, and this seemed to be a fair range. However, I’m always happy to discuss the rate depending on the family, hours and responsibilities. 😊
