Meet Amelie: A nanny, babysitter, and au pair in Maroubra, NSW

Hi families, I am a dedicated and mature individual with extensive experience working with children of all ages, seeking casual babysitting roles and am open to connecting with a new family that can provide a future permanent role for me.

My interest in early childcare began during my employment as an aerial coach, supporting children aged 4 to 17 years old. After graduating High School at NHSPA, I studied my Certificate III in early education and care at Goodstart Early Learning as a full-time educator. Beyond my traineeship, I have branched out into private nannying and babysitting. Currently, I support one primary family, consisting of two beautiful boys aged 6mths and 3.5yrs and the occasional casual babysitting gig for a few different families.

My true passion is to support children through routine, guiding independence and control over autonomy, communicative and consequential reaction, and play-based education which are vital to fostering emotionally regulated, kind, and confident young brains.

I am fully qualified in First Aid, CPR and SIDS training, and have experience working with disabilities/special needs, strong household management and personal assistance skills, P1 Australian Drivers Licence and personal vehicle.
