Meet Niamh: A nanny and babysitter in Melbourne, VIC

Hi!

My name is Niamh — I’m 25 and originally from Ireland, currently living in Melbourne on a 417 Working Holiday Visa. I am just recently back to Melbourne after completing my 88 Days for my 2nd year visa! As the oldest of three, I’ve always had a natural role caring for children, and over the years I’ve gained extensive experience looking after little ones from newborns up to 15 years old — including twins and larger families of four or five kids.

I’m a warm, caring, and active person who loves keeping kids engaged — whether that’s heading out for walks, spending time at the park, or finding fun ways to stay busy at home. I’m also great at maintaining routines, from school drop-offs and pick-ups to meal prep, nap schedules, tummy time, and daily activities. I have previous experience keeping detailed records of feeding times, naps, and medication administration to ensure everything runs smoothly.

I hold a valid Working With Children Check and can provide references from families I’ve babysat for. I also have a driver’s licence (though no car at the moment) and am more than happy to help with light housework — and even walk the family dog! I also have no problem getting a police check if needed!

Regarding casual babysitting, I am available most evenings and happy to stay overnight with prior notice given, as I do currently have current commitments with other families and other jobs!
