I’m very comfortable caring for babies through to teenagers and love creating days that suit each child’s personality and interests — whether that’s arts and crafts, baking, outdoor adventures, swimming, reading, games or helping with homework. I’m confident with babies and younger children’s routines, meal preparation, school and activity pick-ups/drop-offs, bedtime routines and light household tasks. I have experience supporting children with additional needs and understand that every child communicates, regulates and engages differently. I’m also a confident driver with my own car and, thanks to my paramedicine background, am very comfortable remaining calm, practical and safety-focused when unexpected situations arise.

Hi! I’m Sophie, 26, with over 8 years’ experience caring for children aged 6 months to 14 years. I previously worked as a paramedic with the NHS in London and am now studying a Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. I’ve also worked with children with additional needs through What Ability. Outside of uni, I love walking, Pilates, yoga, the beach, exploring the NSW coast and spending time with friends and family. I’m always on a new side quest too - currently knitting and learning Greek, thanks to my Greek partner and my growing love of his culture (and food!).
