Meet Matilda: A nanny and babysitter in Hawthorn, VIC

My name is Matilda and I am a 20 year old energetic and outgoing university student studying Law and Arts at Monash and am looking for a babysitting or nannying job.

I have comprehensive experience working with children and have done so since 2022.

I have experience babysitting for a regular family with a 3 year old whom I have cared for since he was around 12 months old.

I have worked as a swimming instructor for children from the ages of 12 months to 8 years at Xavier college , have worked at an early learning centre for children supporting them with their development through activities and playing musical instruments, and have also worked as a learning support officer at St Josephs primary school in Hawthorn with children of all different backgrounds and needs from ages 5 upwards.

I have received my bronze surf life saving certificate and have completed first aid and CPR training as well as an anaphylaxis course, police check and have my drivers license as a requirement for my previous job as a swimming instructor and as a learning support officer at a primary school.

As a babysitter I would make an effort to be present with the children, ensuring I am giving them my undivided attention and would encourage creativity and playfulness, so that they are never bored. In my past experience I have prioritised maintaining cleanliness in the home and completing any housework that needed to be done.

I am available every Monday, Tuesdays before 3 PM, all day Wednesday, every Thursday except for the 15th and 29th of May, every Friday afternoon and all day on the weekends, every weekend!
