Meet Georgina: A nanny and babysitter in Carlton North, VIC

Hi, I'm Georgie! I just finished my Law and Arts degree and am looking for some casual/part time nannying work alongside my volunteering. I have spent the past five years babysitting for various families throughout my degree, three years with one family of two boys (6 & 11). Being the eldest child of three, I have always been highly involved in caring for my siblings while my single mother has worked as a full-time emergency doctor over the years. Therefore, I have extensive background experience caring for children, including babysitting for various family friends before university. I have extensive experience with cooking, cleaning, dropping off + picking up from school, tutoring, shopping, taking children to swimming lessons etc. I am flexible and am happy to fit into the dynamic and needs of your family. I have moved from a small rural town on the coast, where I enjoy swimming, surfing, and hiking. I have participated in many extracurricular activities, such as working at sporting canteens and obtaining my surf rescue certificate. I have enjoyed supervising children in water safety in 'Nippers' and 'Special Nippers' with children with special needs. This role revealed to me how much I enjoy working with children and earned me an award from the Surf Lifesaving Club for my contribution. I am compassionate and patient and have a warm, bubbly, and energetic personality that I look forward to bringing to the right position, caring for kids of all ages :)
