Meet Tesoro: A nanny, babysitter, and au pair in Crows Nest, NSW

Hi! My name is Tesoro. I’m a qualified Physical Education and Sports professional from Colombia, with over five years of experience working with children and young people through sports, education and recreational activities.

I have worked with children of different ages, teaching swimming, roller skating, physical activity and motor skills. I really enjoy spending time with children and creating fun, active and positive experiences where they can learn, play and feel confident.

Since moving to Australia, I have also worked as a babysitter, supporting families with childcare and day to day routines. I’m a reliable, responsible, patient and caring person, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident when leaving their children in someone else’s care.

I’m also a qualified PADI Scuba Instructor and have experience teaching and supervising children in aquatic environments. This has strengthened my communication skills, patience and ability to stay calm and focused while always putting safety first.

I particularly enjoy outdoor activities, swimming, sports, creative games, reading, and exploring new activities with children. I’m happy to adapt activities to each child's age, personality and interests.

I’m also currently improving my English, so I’m a very open-minded and motivated person who enjoys learning from new experiences and connecting with people from different backgrounds.
