Meet Jessica: A nanny in Coolangatta, QLD

I previously worked in Melbourne as a Lead Teacher in Special Education, where I was also the Behaviour Support Coordinator and classroom teacher. I hold a Master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis and have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent children and young people.

As a Visiting Teacher with the Department of Education, I worked across multiple schools, collaborating with teachers, parents, and students to promote inclusive education practices. My role included developing Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs), teaching Braille, and delivering professional development and staff training.

After relocating to the sunny Gold Coast, I followed my passion for holistic health and began a new career in Kinesiology, Energy Medicine, and Herbalism. While this has been an exciting new chapter, my love for working with children has never changed.

I have two beautiful nephews, aged one and four, who I absolutely adore spending time with. They keep me active, laughing, and constantly reminded of how rewarding it is to help children learn, grow, and feel supported.

I am a warm, happy, caring, and reliable person who genuinely enjoys building positive connections with children and their families. My background gives me the confidence to support children of all abilities, including those who are neurodivergent, while creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where they can thrive.
