Meet Yasmin: A babysitter in Bentleigh, VIC

Hi, I’m Yasmin and I'm 19. I am a second-year Bachelor of Design student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Architecture and Construction. I graduated from Sacré Cœur in 2024 and live at home with my parents, siblings and pets. Having grown up with babysitters, I understand how important it is for a babysitter to feel like a trusted extension of the family. I believe parents should feel confident that their children are safe, supported and well cared for, while children benefit from consistency, routine and structure.

I have experience working with young children as an assistant teacher at Brighton Dance Academy, where I continue to train and assist with weekly classes. I have also worked in hospitality for the past four years as a Head of House, developing strong communication, cleaning, organisational and responsibility skills. In my spare time, I enjoy visiting Melbourne’s art galleries, dancing, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle.
