Meet Jessie: A nanny, babysitter, and au pair in Cashmere, QLD

Hi! My name is Jessie, I’m a 24 year old babysitter and swimming teacher based in Cashmere. I currently work with kids aged 0-12 years while also working towards my Masters Degree in Teaching (Early Childhood Education). I have current First Aid and CPR certificates and a valid Blue Card.

As the eldest of three children, I’ve been looking after my siblings and many young cousins for almost 20 years! I’m a very creative, curious person which really helps me to connect with kids and allow us to learn together. I’m not afraid to laugh at my mistakes and have fun but of course can be serious when it’s needed.

I’m very passionate about childcare and know how important it is to be proactive, reliable and communicate well. I don’t shy away from hard work as I know there are always ups and downs - I’m excited to be there for all of it.
