Meet Georgie: A nanny and babysitter in Marrickville, NSW

Hello ! 🤗

I’m Georgie. I’m 28 and currently shifting my career path, so in the meantime am reconnecting with my passion for working with children. For the past 4 months I have been a nanny to a lovely 10 year old girl, and while she and her family are overseas on holidays I’m hoping to fill in my time until she’s back ! :)

Availability:

• From December 21st - January 5th (inclusive) I am available most days and nights—including weekends—and can step in at short notice

❇️ Drivers License and my own Car

❇️ Current valid WWCC and Police Check

❇️ Happy to assist with additional tasks e.g. cooking, cleaning, household admin, general chores etc.

**When school commences: I do have large gaps in my day between pickup/drop off, so have availability that i’m happy to discuss in more detail if you’re interested:)

A bit about me;

I’ve always really resonated with Einstein’s famous quote, that “everybody is a genius.. but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid..”

I strongly believe every child has unique strengths that deserve celebration and encouragement, and often find that my role when caring for kids is to create a nurturing space where creative play, thoughtful conversation, and hands-on activities empower each child to express themselves. Whether we’re building imaginative forts, embarking on art projects, or working through homework, my goal is to help kids build confidence and embrace their individuality in a supportive and fun environment.

I place high importance on always respecting and closely following your family culture and values, as well as your personal parenting philosophies.
