Looking for: Part-time,Casual Babysitting

I am an 18-year-old Australian who has graduated from high school and is now studying at university full-time. I have been working for the past nearly two years as a full-time nanny to a (now) 2, 6 and 8-year-old. whilst having 3 other weekend jobs on the sidelines, in retail and hospitality, and as a netball and football coach to children ranging from 5-10. I have worked with these children, providing full time care, including wake up, and bedtimes, pick up and drop off from school and afterschool activities, homework help, participating in activities with the children ( for example, the 2 year old goes to many groups such as sport and music, where i participate with him and help him grow and understand), as well as helping coach the kids in the 8 years olds cricket, caring for a 8 month old baby, now 2, for the past 2 years of my life, providing constant care for him and his needs such as breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, naps, one on one time and everything in between! as a full time nanny in my experiences, whilst the baby or children are at school etc ( any free time) i spend doing a general clean of the house, such as wiping down counters, cleaning up toys, vaccuming or sweeping, general tidy of toys and clothes and and washing of dishes and clothes that needs completing! Whilst being a full-time nanny to these 3 children, I have also had many, many times where I have had 4-8+ (other) children in my care, with playdates (etc). All ranging in ages from 1-9. other than my experience with this wonderful family, i also babysit for their extended friends and family on a general weekly basis, ages being a 3 month old, 6 month old, 8 month old, and all ages from 2-9. as well as babysitting for my own personal friends and family, their ages ranging from babies to teenagers (teens being 11-15). on that note, i have also experienced babysitting and catering for many different needs of children, be it their own personal needs, to things that are out of their control, such as anxiety, ADHD and autism. Some children also needing help with homework as they experience dyslexia. Although I am young, I feel as though I have matured a lot and have become extremely understanding and nurturing to young children, or of any age. I've come to learn over the past year of working as a full-time nanny that I have a love for babies and children and love to be a part of their lives and help them reach their full potential and experience a fun-filled childhood, and have someone to help with whatever they may need! From what I have seen told from parents around me and when I look after their kids, they tell me I have a fun, energetic nature with a true love for children and that I make their children happy and excited for their time with me, as well as being a very mature, reliable, easy going young lady!

Looking for: Full-time

Hi, my name is Natalie! I am from the UK, in my late 20s. After six rewarding months as a live-in au pair in Perth, I am looking for another wonderful family to support in a live out position. My experience with children spans a broad age range—from five to eighteen years—and I’m wanting to gain more experience working with children under five as well. In the UK, I worked in residential childcare, supporting young people with diverse and complex needs. I also hold a TESOL certificate, which I earned during a six-month teaching placement in Thailand where I taught English to primary-aged students. This experience pushed me out of my comfort zone - living abroad, balancing studying for the TESOL qualification and teaching full time in a foreign country. In my most recent role as an au pair, I supported the family through a difficult time of terminal illness and bereavement. I was made aware of the family's situation whilst applying for the role and I wanted to help. It was an incredibly meaningful experience to provide some stability, emotional support, and continuity of care to the family through a period of profound transition. I believe this speaks to my character as a kind, caring, and compassionate individual. I enjoy spending quality time with children and love engaging in fun, meaningful activities such as playing sports, cinema trips, baking, and getting creative with arts and crafts. I bring genuine interest and enthusiasm to our time together while maintaining a calm and fair approach. Setting gentle but clear boundaries when necessary to help children make good choices and foster independence. My previous teaching experience has given me the tools to provide valuable support with reading and homework. Helping children to reinforce their learning, build confidence, and encourage a positive approach to education. I offer emotional support by being a compassionate listener, encouraging open communication, and helping children navigate challenges with patience, kindness, and reassurance. Most importantly, I value the meaningful connections I build with the children and truly enjoy getting to know them and their unique personalities. Alongside my childcare responsibilities, I take pride in keeping a home clean, organised, and running smoothly. My value of cleanliness and organisation is reflected in my consistent attention to detail and proactive approach to household management. I’m self-motivated and confident in managing household tasks independently. Whether it’s maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, keeping the family’s schedule on track, or handling practical day-to-day needs, I approach each task with care and a strong sense of responsibility. Alongside my childcare experience, I’ve also worked in an aged care home and cared for my elderly grandmother during her struggle with Parkinsons disease and dementia. Patience, calmness, and compassion are core to my personality, and these experiences have helped me strengthen these qualities even more. It reaffirmed the importance of truly listening and offering steady support, especially during difficult or emotional moments. I bring that same caring approach when working with children, to create a warm, safe space where children feel understood and well cared for. I am also comfortable and experienced with caring for pets. I have a Sproker Spaniel at home in the UK who requires many walks and attention. I have also had multiple cats as pets throughout the years. I would be more than happy to include their care and companionship as part of my support for your household if required. If you’re looking for someone kind, calm, dependable, organised, and genuinely passionate about supporting your children and home life, I’d love to hear from you!
